Welcome to the Spring edition of the PAU Alumni Newsletter! Below you will find details about upcoming events (please join us!), a reminder about your alumni benefits including CE discounts (and an opportunity to present CE programs), and the new Alumni Engagement Council.

Alumni Events

We have a busy 2024 underway and are hosting three events between now and the middle of May! Please join us in New Orleans during the ACA Convention (April 12), in San Francisco during the WPA Convention (April 27), and at our Alumni Panel in Mountain View (May 9). Please note you do not need to be registered for or attend the conventions to attend the PAU events. We look forward to seeing you!

We are also finalizing virtual events to take place in June and July, so more to come!

Alumni Panel - May 9th

Come hear an engaging panel discussion with alumni of varying career paths! We'll discuss thoughts on navigating life after school, professional journeys, and more. Please register to attend this event at PAU's Mountain View campus.

ACA Meet-up - April 12th

Join us at the ACA Convention! The PAU community will gather at Sidecar Patio for fun, socializing, relaxation, and food! Please register here!

WPA Meet-up - April 27th

6:30-8:30 pm | San Francisco

PAU community members will also gather at the Irish Times in SF during the WPA Convention! Please register here for a fun night with peers and friends!

Alumni Engagement Council

The past two years have seen increased programming and communications with the PAU alumni community. In an effort to continually improve the impact and reach of these efforts, I am excited to announce the formation of the PAU Alumni Engagement Council.

Council Members have the opportunity to inform, advise, and shape alumni engagement efforts for all of our alumni. Our Council Charter provides more detail about the role of this Council. 

I invite the PAU community to submit nominations (including self-nominations) to serve on this Council. Nominees should be alumni of PAU/PGSP who are committed to seeing the university and its communities thrive, can engage in quarterly meetings, and are willing to attend/drive attendance to programming.
